We thank God for the gift of life to see this midweek. may we continue to enjoy His mercy.
Hear the word of God from
Luke 12 vs. 22-28
And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. [23] The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. [24] Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? [25] And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
Worry is a deadly virus to every human. It does not add to the life span. Rather, it will cut short man’s life span. We all understand what it means. May we never be cut short at the prime of our lives. There is an adage that says when there is life, there is hope. Therefore, whatever our expectations are, in as much as we have life, all will be sorted.
Children of God, what are your concerns? feeding, clothing, shelter, family responsibilities, tuition fees, rents, and several other needs to cater for? If God can feed the ravens, clothes the lilies, and care for the beasts. God is able to take care of those needs. Being alive is more than meat! “And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?” Luke 12 v 25.
Luke 12 vs. 27 – 28 says,
“Consider how the lilies grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?”
WE CELESTIANS have this assurance that God is our sustainer. He is the only source of our provision. He planted while we reaped:

Oh God Almighty,
In thee only we’re trusting
Great Fountain of yoy,
With fruits of eternal life,
Provide for Us all
King who does planting,
For our divine harvesting,
Provide for us all.
In conclusion, Brethren, let’s not worry over anything. Instead, let’s be thankful to God for life and look up to God for all our expectations.
Philippians 4 v 6
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” Philippians 4 v 6.
I pray that whatever may be the pressing need in our lives, the Lord will meet us at the very point of our needs. The Lord will grant us peace and rest of mind in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
