THE POWER OF RESURRECTION
We thank God for the gift of another beautiful day this special season. May we celebrate more by God’s grace.
Easter period is a special season humanity will never recover from. It is a season to recall when Jesus laid down His life for the ones He loves. (I John 3 v 16a, John 10 vs. 17-18). He endured the death of the Cross to pay for our sins, and we are justified by His blood(Colosians 2 vs. 13-14, Romans 5 v 9).
CCC Hymn 241 testifies to this: I have gone astray because of its grace of the Lord that has found me. He died for me on the cross. The grace of the glorious King is great( Yor. Mo ti sina sinu ese, ore Oluwa lo ri mi he. O ku fun mi lori igi, oreofe Oga Ogo poju).
The Bible record tells us something crucial in Matthew 27 vs. 51-53 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; [52] And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, [53] And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
This means that by the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, everything and anything that was held captive were released and gained total freedom( CCC Hymn 186 stanzer 3 tells us: To untie all the bonds of Satan. That we were all taken caprives. We have been soothed by hands of power in the capitivity of Satan. Chorus: Ah! Jesus ,lives, and now is king. He reigns now and forever…etc.(Yor: Ki gbogbo ipa esu le tu. To fi de wa, ni igbekun ri. Ati f’ owo agbara tu wa. ninu igbekun esu. Cr: A! Jesu ti ye. O ti joba. O joba titi aiye…etc.
I pray that by the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, whatever has kept us small or kept us little is torn apart, and we are breaking forth on every side and making progressb in Jesus’mighty name. Amen!
Any power that has kept us bound and limiting our progress is shreded into pieces by the power of resurrection. We shall ride on our high places in Jesus’mighty name. Amen
I decree and declare that every veil of obscurity covering our glory from manifesting will be torn to pieces today, and our glory will arise and shine for the world to see in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
