We are given the privilege of life to be numbered among the partakers of this new day in the New Year. We appreciate God for His enduring mercy over us.
Hear the word of God from
Isaiah 43 vs.18-19
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. [19] Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
The word that came to us this New Year is the word of encouragement for a fresh start. A fresh start means a new beginning and opportunity to restart again what we have done that was not right. We are given another chance to make adjustments where we have made errors in the past to accommodate the new opportunities that God is bringing to us this new year. The scripture tells us,
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”
This is telling us to forget about the past mistakes and put them behind us because God is set to do a new thing this New Year that we will see and handle.
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43 v 19.
The essence of this is that God is giving you grace to plan well to do that which you could not do and make corrections where you have made mistakes in the previous year for God to transform your situation to a beautiful one to behold.
Also, a fresh start to the Children of God is the time and season of mercy and favour of God. It’s when God remembers us and gives us a chance to make adjustments and align with the will of God so that He will turn around our situations from ashes to beauty and give us a new season for the wasted one.
A fresh start for
everyone reading this message is a chance to start afresh, correct all mistakes, make adjustments where necessary, and stay focused and connected with God to avoid the same mistakes in this new year.
Joel 2 v 25 says, “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”
As CELESTIANS, we are given grace for a new beginning to start afresh that which we could not do well in the past year. Let’s make good use of the opportunity and not allow the grace to slip off our hands.
In conclusion, Brethren, this New Year 2026, God is bringing us into the season of mercy where we are receiving better opportunities and chances for the lost ones. Our captivity will be turned again like a dream by mercy. “When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream” Psalm 126 v1.
Jehovah God, we thank You for the privilege of life that gives us another opportunity for a fresh start this year. I pray that every good season we have wasted or missed in the past year due to negligence, mercy will bring back to us in an unsual way. This is the year and season we are increasing on every side in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
Have a wonderful day.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
JESUS IS LORD!
