YOU SHALL NOT BE MOVED

YOU SHALL NOT BE MOVED

We are alive to see the end of another week today because God sustained us. We appreciate God’s sustaining power over us.

Hear the word of God from
Psalm 46 vs.1 – 5
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. [2] Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; [3] Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. [4] There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. [5] God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

Today’s word is the confirmation of the stand of God concerning His people. It’s the assurance of God’s strong defence that no matter the circumstances, God is always there for us as our present help in time of trouble. (Psalm 46 v 1)
Today’s scripture gives us confidence that no matter how terrible the storms of life. Though the earth quack, the montains shake, and the waters are troubled, but because God is in our midst, we can not be moved. God will help us.
Psalm 46 v 3
“Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.”
Child of God, what are you going through, and how tough is the situation around you? This is the assurance you have according to today’s scripture that if God is in your life and you trust absolutely in Him. No matter how tough the situations, you will not be moved. You will overcome. Psalm 46 v 5
“God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.”
AS CELESTIANS, God gives us assurance in His word and in our hymns that no matter how terrible the challenge is, it will not consume us, and the power of God will subdue it. CCC Hymn 537: FEAR not in Arms of Jesus, nothing exists to be feared, the fire that burns can not come near thee, Devil’s uprisings are subdued.( MA FOYA ni apa Jesu, ko si ohun eru kan, ina ti njo ko le sun mo o, etc….)
In conclusion, Brethren, let’s us hold unto our trust in God and be confident that if the whole world crumble little out of the promises of God will not go unfulfilled. He said no challenge or principalities can move nor overcome us. Isaiah 43 vs. 1 -2
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
Father, thank You for the assurance of victory that You gave us today. I pray that throughout this month and beyond, every roaring water is still. We are victorious above all challenges in Jesus’mighty name. Amen!

Have a peaceful weekend.
Happy New Month
Stay blessed.
JESUS IS LORD!
