FAITH AND OBEDIENCE

FAITH AND OBEDIENCE

Welcome on board to this beautiful month. We bless God for counting us among the living souls.

Hear the word of God from
Isaiah 1 v 19
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

As Christians, we know that faith is the bedrock of our salvation. There is no way we can be saved without believing in Christ Jesus. John 3 v 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The GIFT of the only begotten Son of God to humanity for all to be saved will be a waste without our belief in God’s only Son, Jesus Christ.

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3 v 18.

However, having faith in Christ Jesus will amount to nothing if our obedience is not complete. Willingness to obey God’s commandment is what will guarantee our salvation. Today’s text says,

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 1 v 19.

As CELESTIANS, we can’t be celebrating faith in Christ without perfect or totally obedience to the commandments of God. In correlation to the above scripture, CCC Hymns 772
Says “Feni to ba gbagbo to se gboran yo ri iye ni ijo momo.” ( For those who believe and are obedient will be saved in CELESTIAL). The essence of this is that there is no faith without obedience, and if obedience and faith will lead to eternal life. Then, it means that without obedience, our worship will be in vain in CELESTIAL Church.

In conclusion, Brethren, CELESTIAL Church is a perfect church of Christ through whom the world is saved. There’s nothing wrong with the church. It’s mandatory for every member to work in obedience and in accordance with the will of God to receive the promises that are meant for the true worshipers. See (Deuteronomy 28 vs.1-14)

Father, thank You for Your love towards us. We pray for the grace to stand in faith and walk in obedience unto the fulfilment of all promises. Psalm 1:1. May we not worship in vain in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

Stay blessed.
Happy New Month
JESUS IS LORD!
