We thank God for the privilege to see this beautiful day this new week.
Hear the word of God from Zechariah 4 v 10a
For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel.
A Rome they say was not built in a day. The great empires, business organizations, famous ministries, churches, and the affluence and grate people that we see and hear about today did not just start big. Most of them are products of small beginning. Therefore, we must not be ashamed, nor feel bad of the days of our small beginning. Job 8 v 7
says, “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.”
Child of God, don’t despise the day of your smallness because you will still grow bigger and increase greatly if you don’t look down on yourself and believe in the power of change.
The plants that grew up to become great trees in the forest did not just begin in a day. But they started growing as a result of the scent of water and other resources that they enjoyed on a daily basis.
Likewise, we must not despise that small business, project, marriage, relationship, career, etc. What we just need is prayer, courage, time, effort, focus, and determination. If only we could invest more efforts into every area we are experiencing smallness in our lives, surprisingly, we would see them growing bigger and yielding great results.
As CELESTIANS, have you considered this beautiful CCC Hymns 526, which says,
“Ona t’Olorun ngba soro
lati se ise re,
ona re enikan ko mo
awamaridi ni…..
(The ways of God are mysterious, to accomplish His works…..) This simply means that God could turn situations around in a mysterious way.
In conclusion: Beloved Brethren, no matter how small your status, level, position, condition or qualifications, is now, do not despise yourself, and don’t allow anyone to despise you because your tomorrow shall be great. The Bible says, “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof” Ecclesiastes 7 v 8.
I pray that no matter how small things are now, the God of supernatural will visit us, and we shall begin to experience a great increase in all spheres of our lives in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
Enjoy a fruitful week.
Stay blessed.
JESUS IS LORD!
