We thank God for the preservation of our lives to see the breaking of another week this month. May God’s name be highly exalted.
Hear the word of God from
John 14 v 27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
The Lord knew before He departed this world that there are tribulations and storms in the world. Hence, He gave the above word of assurance and comfort to encourage His disciples that His peace will be with them no matter what they come across in life. This word is coming to us as Christ believers today to comfort and assure us that whatever situation we find ourselves, the Prince of Peace has given us the assurance of peace.
Therefore Beloved Brethren, whatever challenge that is bothering you and you have been seeking God’s face since the beginning of the year, and you’re loosing your peace because the year is rolling out gradually, and there is no solution yet. Relax, Jesus said he has given us peace. This informs that, you have nothing to trouble yourself about, that burden is lifted. All will end in praise, and your peace will be restored.
As CELESTIANS, we are given assurance even in our hymns that we should not be afraid because no challenge will come near us. (CCC hymns 537) “Fear not in Arms of the Lord Jesus. Nothing exists to be feared…..” (Ma foya ni apa Jesu ko si ohun eru kan, ina ti njo ko le sun mo o, ogun esu ti di wiwo mole).
I pray that in the remaining days of this month, every matter that is giving you sleepless nights, the Lord will resolve and give you peace and rest of mind in all ramifications in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
